Sharpening & Polishing stone are widely used to grind and hone the edges of steel tools and implements. These stones may be flat, for working flat edges, or shaped for more complex edges such as these associated with some wood carving or wood-turning tools. These are used either manually or mounted on special purpose grinders.
Combine Sharpening stones, that are coarse on one side and fine on the other, are the most widely used product in this category. To achieve a clean cutting edge first use the coarse side on the tool and then sharpen it with finer side.
